LURY began with two friends — Ashlyn Ryu and Kristy Lu — who each ran their own independent fashion labels before their paths crossed at an international design house. Working across borders, they kept hitting the same wall: a strong design losing its integrity somewhere between the studio and an overseas factory floor, caught in translation.
So they built the bridge they wished they'd had.
Today, LURY is proud to run one of the largest denim factories in the region — and with it, brands get something rare: personal, hands-on attention at every step, from sketch to pattern making to design, tech pack, washing, and sourcing fabrics and details. Nothing gets lost along the way.
